TWIST – Training Workshops for Investigators and Study Teams
The QAU launched TWIST in September 2015 to provide a comprehensive, community-driven research education program. In addition to hosting monthly seminars developed in conjunction with the directors of research at WCM/NYP, TWIST is building a library of research resources in the Training and Education Tools and Templates section of the Researcher’s Toolbox

Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP)
OHRP provides leadership in the protection of the rights, welfare, and wellbeing of subjects involved in research conducted or supported by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). An authority on the conduct of clinical trials,  OHRP has published a series of videos to YouTube aimed to educate investigators and their teams. Topics include the General Requirements of Informed Consent, the use, in research, of Human Biological Specimens and Private Information, and considerations when Reviewing and Reporting Unanticipated Problems and Adverse Events. Other videos seek to address common issues, such as  those encountered with studies that utilize Biobanking.

Forte Research Resources
Forte Research has developed a growing collection of resources for clinical research professionals. We encourage everyone conducting research at WCM/NYP to visit their site and take advantage of their on-demand webinars. Enhance your records review protocols, ensure that your study’s prepared for FDA audits, and get new perspectives on how to build a better trial budget

These webinars were originally recorded by Forte Research Systems, Inc. as part of their clinical research webinar series.  They, as well as other related content, can be viewed at ForteResearch.com.
