Cold Snare Endoscopic Mucosal Resection of Duodenal Adenomas ≥10 mm: A prospective cohort

Clinical Trial Details

This is an observational study. This study is for men and women who will undergo endoscopic resection of a ≥ 10 mm adenomatous duodenal polyp.

The purpose of this registry study is is to understand how to improve polyp resection of large polyps in the small intestine, and how to make it as effective and as safe as possible.

Data will be collected related to participants and the upper endoscopy and the resection of the large polyp; for instance, age, sex, how long the procedure took, and how easy it was to perform the procedure. We will also record a video of the polyp removal. The video will not include any information that could identify participants. We will also collect data on upper endoscopies that might occur in the future. Recommendations regarding future endoscopy procedures will not be affected by the study.
