Zoster Eye Disease Study (ZEDS)

Clinical Trial Details

ZEDS is a clinical trial investigating whether long-term treatment with a pill, Valacyclovir, will help reduce eye disease and/or chronic pain in patients with shingles affecting the eye. 

Key Eligibility: 

- Men and women 18 years or older
- Those who have a rash from shingles over the eye
- Have had certain types of eye disease from shingles affecting the cornea within the past year
